description
CHIMNEY ELEMENT
The present invention relates to a chimney element, in particular a chimney base.
In a chimney base is one of the lower sections or the lowest section of chimneys. This section has, for example, a cleaning door for an exhaust draft. Another door is typically provided to provide access to a condensate collector or the like. Another door may be provided to provide access, for example, to a supply air duct. This multiplicity of doors represents a considerable expense, since each door requires a corresponding opening in the chimney element, its own closing mechanism, etc. In addition, the different doors are usually also arranged on different sides of the chimney element, resulting in an unmanageable variety of variants. Another problem is that the usually made of sheet metal doors worsen the visual appearance of the chimney element.
It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a chimney element, which eliminates the aforementioned disadvantages and is constructed simply and inexpensively.
This object is achieved by a chimney element, in particular by a chimney base, according to claim 1. Further advantages and features will become apparent from the dependent claims and the description and the accompanying figures.
According to the invention comprises a chimney element, in particular a chimney base, which extends along a longitudinal axis, a flue, a functional space and an opening, wherein the flue is accessible via the opening and wherein the functional space is also accessible via the opening. The longitudinal axis of the chimney element corresponds to a longitudinal axis of the chimney or chimney, in other words, a vertical direction. The flue gas draft may, for example, be a pipe or a multiplicity of pipe elements via which the flue gases of one or more connected chimneys are removed. In the prior art, such a flue is accessible for example via a corresponding cleaning door. Advantageously, the opening is provided, about which not only the exhaust gas train is accessible but also the functional space. "Accessible" is to be understood as meaning that an access is provided for a hand and / or for corresponding tools, for example a chimney sweeper, in which case the opening is formed as a recess or opening in the chimney element and has, for example, a length extending along the longitudinal axis a length along the longitudinal axis / vertical axis is advantageously in a range of about 550 to 750 mm, preferably about 650 mm A width, which measures transversely thereto, is for example in a range of about 150 to 350 mm It is advantageous that the opening not only provides access, for example, to the flue gas duct, as is known from the prior art, but also to the functional space, The functional space in turn, which is expediently a cavity inside the chimney element , and which, for example, with respect to the longitudinal axis next to the Ab In turn, gas coil can be arranged, in turn, provides a variety of functions, which will be described below.
According to a preferred embodiment, the functional space is arranged below the exhaust draft. Conveniently, the exhaust train thus ends in the region of the opening, wherein the functional space is arranged or formed below the exhaust flue. According to one embodiment, the exhaust draft terminates substantially centrally with respect to a longitudinal extent of the opening.
Conveniently, the chimney element comprises a bearing element on which the
Exhaust line is stored. For example, a corresponding bridge support in the chimney element or on the chimney element is provided in such a way that the flue gas duct starts over the functional space. According to one embodiment, the chimney element is formed from a plurality of mantle stones arranged one above the other along the longitudinal axis. The bearing element can be arranged for example between two mantle stones, similar to a partition wall. However, the bearing element can also be arranged or formed within the chimney element or within the cladding stones, in particular by one or more cladding stones themselves. The decisive factor is that the exhaust draft or the cladding bricks, which comprise the exhaust draft, thus at a certain height be supported that is formed below the functional space, which is accessible via the opening. The functional space is expediently formed by the chimney element, expediently through a cavity. Preferably, a casing stone or several casing stones have a corresponding internal geometry, which forms the functional space.
According to one embodiment, the chimney element comprises a first maintenance opening, which provides access to the exhaust gas train substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. Particularly preferably, the exhaust flue on the first maintenance opening, which can conveniently be closed by a suitable closure element, for example, a flap or door. As already mentioned, the flue is formed, for example, from a tube or a plurality of tubular elements, for example, from a corresponding refractory material such as metal or ceramic. The first maintenance opening may, for example, be formed as a projection of this pipe or pipe element that extends essentially transversely to the longitudinal axis and may itself have an example of a round, in particular circular, cross-section.
According to a preferred embodiment, the chimney element comprises a multi-functional channel or at least one further channel, which is accessible via the functional space. The multi-function duct or the at least one further duct can, similar to the exhaust draft, be formed from a pipe or from a plurality of pipe elements, possibly also from a heat-resistant material. But it can also be formed by the chimney element or the mantle stones themselves, characterized in that the mantle stones a corresponding, z. B. round or angular internal geometry, have. According to one embodiment, the multi-function channel z. B. by a U-shaped casing stones or by a plurality of (superimposed) formed, which are arranged on a wall of that or those mantle stones (which comprise or form the flue) such that a corresponding channel is formed. It can therefore be arranged side by side several elements / mantle stones. According to a preferred embodiment, the multi-function duct is a supply air duct / combustion air duct, for example for a connected chimney. The multi-functional channel or the further channel extends parallel to the flue gas duct along the longitudinal axis. The multi-functional channel or the at least one further channel expediently end above the functional space. The functional space is expediently thus arranged below the multi-functional channel or the at least one further channel. The great advantage is that the multi-function channel or the at least one further channel is now also accessible via the function space or are. As a result, the multi-functional channel is also accessible via the opening with advantage. Thus, an extremely variable chimney element is created, which manages with a single opening. Thus, the chimney element, as already indicated, also include a plurality of other channels and shafts, which are accessible via the functional space or the opening with advantage.
For this purpose, the chimney element expediently comprises at least a second maintenance opening, which provides access to the multi-functional channel and / or to the at least one further channel substantially along the longitudinal axis. Preferably, the second maintenance opening is formed lockable, for example, with a corresponding flap or door. Depending on how the bearing element or the bridge element are formed, the second maintenance opening may also be provided or arranged at least partially in the bearing element. Along the longitudinal axis means in this case that the multi-functional channel, which may for example be a supply air duct, is accessible from below via the functional space. According to a further embodiment, further maintenance openings are provided, whereby further channels and shafts etc. are accessible starting from the functional area. According to one embodiment, the second maintenance opening can also be arranged laterally in the functional space, so that a horizontal access to a multifunctional channel arranged next to the functional space is provided or an access essentially transversely to the longitudinal axis.
According to one embodiment, the functional space, when using the multi-function duct as a combustion air duct, as overflow from the second maintenance opening and simultaneous change of the closure element or the flap / door of the flue gas train in an adjustable draft regulator can be used as a pressure equalization opening for multi-occupied chimneys / exhaust systems.
According to a preferred embodiment, the functional space has a condensate collecting tank or a condensate drain or a condensate collecting tank or condensate drain is arranged in the functional space. For this purpose, a suitable outflow is expediently provided by the exhaust flue. Again, it is true that-depending on the configuration of the bearing element-the drain can be arranged or provided at least in regions in the bearing element. At this point, the great advantage of the opening in the chimney element is again clear, as well as the condensate collection container or the condensate drain is accessible through the opening.
As already indicated, the chimney element is expediently formed from at least two mantle stones, wherein the openings extends correspondingly along the longitudinal axis over the at least two mantle stones.
According to a preferred embodiment, a door element is arranged in the opening.
Conveniently, the door element comprises a door frame and a pivotable door leaf, wherein the door leaf can be opened preferably via a push-to-open mechanism. The chimney element or the door element therefore preferably comprises a push-to-open mechanism. The door element as such is expediently formed from a metal sheet. This applies to both the door frame and the pivoting door leaf. The door frame, for example, provide appropriate fasteners such as tabs, via which it can be attached or used on the chimney element or on the mantle stones. According to a preferred embodiment, the door element comprises at least one, for example two, spring snap closures, which can also be advantageously arranged such that they are not visible when the opening is closed.
According to a preferred embodiment, the door frame is plastered together with the chimney element. The door frame is therefore preferably invisible, d. H. no longer visible after plastering. Particularly preferably, the door leaf is plastered. Conveniently, the door leaf thus has a corresponding surface or an insert, which can be plastered. In the door leaf gap between the door leaf and the door frame, a suitable cleaning door protection ring (with finger tab) is expediently placed before plastering. This is particularly intended to prevent the shell during plastering penetration of mortar in the door leaf gap. Conveniently, it is later replaced by a blower door seal (with finger tab), which, for. B. invisible from the outside, is arranged between the door frame and door leaf. According to another embodiment, however, the blower door seal can also be arranged from the outside in the door gap, wherein it is then advantageously adapted in color to a color of the (plastered) chimney element. Subsequently, the chimney element or the mantle stones are plastered together with the door element in such a way that a completely flat surface is formed. The door leaf expediently has the same surface as the chimney element and is ultimately only visible through the door leaf gap, from which of course the seal still has to be removed. Therefore, in this context, the push-to-open mechanism is particularly preferred, as it preserves the very tidy external appearance. Possibly. but can also be provided a handle on the door leaf or an opening or undercut, whereby the door panel can be opened.
According to a further embodiment, the door element or the door leaf comprises an insert, which is preferably designed to be interchangeable. The door leaf preferably has a frame, for example made of metal, which carries the aforementioned insert. The insert may, for example, also be a glass or metal plate insert, with or without light effects, around a key box, a picture frame, a genuine stone plate, etc. The insert is expediently made of a metal, plastic, wood or generally of a material , which can be plastered or whose surface is so designed or trained that a plastering is possible. Advantageously, the insert is a plaster base plate. The insert or the door leaf as such are advantageously provided with a quick-change device, so that the design, depending on the requirements and order, can be designed individually with little effort at the same time. Conveniently, for example, the insert can be easily assembled and disassembled to vary the appearance of the chimney element.
According to one embodiment, the door leaf on its inside a closure element which is designed to close the first maintenance opening. The first maintenance opening can in turn have a closure element which must be opened after opening the door element or the door leaf. In the aforementioned variant, the opening of the door leaf automatically opens the first maintenance opening.
Further advantages and features of the chimney element according to the invention will become apparent from the following description of preferred embodiments with reference to the accompanying figures. Various advantages and features can be combined with each other within the scope of the invention.
In the drawings: FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of an embodiment of a chimney element according to the invention; Figure 2 is a sketch-like sectional view of another embodiment of a
Chimney element; Figure 3 perspective views of an embodiment of a chimney element; Figure 4 is a perspective view of an embodiment of a gasket for a door leaf gap.
Fig. 1 shows four superimposed along a longitudinal axis L arranged facing stones 10, which form a chimney / form. An opening 50 extends along the two middle casing stones 10. In the opening 50, a door member 60 is arranged. The door member 60 includes a door frame 62 which is inserted into the opening 50. For the arrangement and attachment of the door frame 62 corresponding tabs 63 are provided in the embodiment shown here. Pivoting in the door frame 62, a door leaf 64 is arranged. Over the opening 50, an exhaust gas train 20 can be seen, which has a first maintenance opening 22. Below the exhaust draft 20, a functional space 40 is arranged or formed. Via the door element 60 or via the opening 50, therefore, both the exhaust gas train 20 or its first maintenance opening 22 and the functional space 40 are advantageously accessible. The illustration to be seen in Figure 1 shows the chimney element before plastering. After plastering the joints between the mantle blocks 10 and in particular the door frame 62 are no longer recognizable. An outer surface of the door leaf 64 and an outer surface of the chimney element then form a closed unit and are only separated by an approximately invisible door leaf gap.
Fig. 2 also shows four arranged along a longitudinal axis L mantle stones 10. It is indicated a bearing element 80, which is arranged between the second and the third coat stone 10. On this bearing element 80, the third casing brick 10, which comprises an exhaust draft 20 and a multi-function duct 30, is supported. In an opening (without reference numeral), which extends over the two middle casing stones 10, a door member 60 is arranged with a corresponding door leaf 64. Via the door element 60, a first maintenance opening 22 and a second maintenance opening 32 are accessible. The second maintenance opening 32 is accessible, in particular, via a functional space 40, which extends below the exhaust draft 20. It can be seen that the bearing element 80 is designed here such that it at least includes the second maintenance opening 32. In the functional space 40, a corresponding condensate collection container may be arranged or may be provided a corresponding device for condensate drainage. For this purpose, a corresponding outflow is expediently provided by the exhaust flue 20, which, however, is not shown in the sketch-like illustration. It can still be seen that the flue gas duct 20 is formed from a tube, for example from a metal or ceramic tube, while the multifunctional duct 30 is formed directly by the mantel blocks 10 by the relationship. On an inner side of the door leaf 64, a closure element 66 is also indicated, which is designed to close the first maintenance opening 22. Coming back to the bearing element 80 should be mentioned that this is formed in the embodiment shown here as a partition plate between two casing blocks 10. Alternatively, however, it is also possible to provide another structure which is suitable for supporting the exhaust gas duct 20-or in the case shown here-the third casing brick 10 or the casing stones 10 arranged above it.
Fig. 3 shows in several perspective views an embodiment of a chimney element. Only one of the figures is to avoid repetition, provided with reference numerals. The remaining illustrations show the known features only from different angles. To see is a casing brick 10, which includes a flue 20. This is based on a bearing element 80. The bearing element 80 is formed directly by the casing stone 10. A condensate drain 90 is provided to discharge, for example, accumulated condensate from the flue gas duct 20. In the embodiment shown here, the condensate drain 90 is designed as a hose which can be connected to a corresponding line or guided into a corresponding container. Below the bearing element 80, a functional space 40 is present, which is accessible via a substantially rectangular opening 50 in the chimney element (side). Advantageously, the opening 50 comprises a first maintenance opening 22, via which access to the exhaust gas train 20 is made possible. The flue 20 is closed with a corresponding flap, door 23. The opening 50 is closed by a door element 60, which comprises a door frame 62 and a door leaf 64. The functional space 40 also includes a second maintenance opening 32, via which a multifunctional duct 30 extending next to it, for example a (combustion) air duct, is accessible. The multi-functional channel 30 is formed by an approximately U-shaped casing stone. To emphasize is finally a spring snap 65, which can be seen only in the lower left illustration. This is formed on the inside so that, when the opening 50 is closed, it is not visible.
Fig. 4 shows a perspective view of a seal 92, which is provided for arrangement in a door leaf gap of an opening of a chimney element. The seal 92 has a T-shaped cross-section, wherein a web portion 94 laterally includes a plurality of clamping cams 96, which allow a good locking in a door leaf gap. The land area 94 is adapted to be placed in a door leaf gap. Such a seal 92 can be used for the shell against penetrating mortar when plastering the chimney element. Such a seal 92 is then subsequently removed. In addition, a seal 92 designed in this way can be used as a blower-door seal of the door leaf gap, wherein it is preferably color matched to the chimney element.
